Namor

Okay, I have thought of designing a Namor poster for a while, and I tried it before, not liking the results. Today I started from scratch with the subject, and this is what came out of it.

I liked the photo of Adrien Brody in Predators so I chose that to be my starting point. I think in the photo he has the over-confident and cocky look that would suit Namor. I chose the tagline "Fuck the humans" to represent Namor's attitude towards mankind.

It could be that in the poster Namor is in World War II with the Invaders and that is why he is so messy, he's been fighting on land for a long time. I thought of that also when I decided to give him dog tags. He has two ornaments with him: the dog tags and the Atlantean bracelets. (At least I think they are, I can't imagine them not being Atlantean.) These represent the two sides of Namor: human and Atlantean.
